Terms & Conditions

Your safety, comfort, and privacy are extremely important to me. These terms and conditions are in place to ensure treatments are carried out safely, professionally, and in line with insurance and legal requirements, while providing the best possible experience for every client.

Patch Testing

Patch tests are a mandatory insurance requirement and must be completed at least 24 hours prior to any brow lamination or tinting treatment. Unfortunately, treatments cannot be carried out without a completed and recorded patch test.

Patch test options include:

  • Ordering a patch test kit via the website, for completion at home, Patch Test Kit. Kits cost £4.00, which covers the kit and postage.

  • Collecting a patch test kit from the studio. Please email info@INKDBrowStudio.co.uk to arrange a convenient time for collection.

Contraindications

Some medical conditions or medications may mean certain treatments are not suitable for you. These may include (but are not limited to): pregnancy, breastfeeding, skin conditions, compromised healing, feeling unwell, or taking certain prescribed medications.

Clients are kindly asked to disclose all relevant medical information before treatment. A full list of contraindications is available upon request and is also included in the client intake and consent form, which must be completed honestly prior to treatment.

If contraindications are not disclosed and treatment cannot go ahead, the appointment may still be chargeable in full.

Booking & Cancellation Policy

I truly value your custom and aim to offer the highest standard of care and results. To allow this, the following booking terms apply:

  • No deposit is required at the time of booking; however, card details are required to secure all appointments.

  • Appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of the appointment time will incur a 50% cancellation or amendment fee, as this short notice may prevent the appointment being filled.

  • Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with more than 48 hours’ notice can be amended at no additional cost.

  • Missed appointments (no-shows) will be charged 100% of the treatment cost.

  • Certain medical conditions, including pregnancy and breastfeeding, are contraindicated for brow treatments. If you attend your appointment and treatment cannot proceed due to a contraindication, the appointment will be chargeable in full.

Data Protection & GDPR

Your personal information is handled with care and in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

  • Personal and medical information is collected solely to provide treatments safely, maintain accurate client records, meet insurance requirements, and comply with legal obligations.

  • All client information is stored securely and treated as confidential.

  • Your data will never be shared with third parties unless legally required or necessary for insurance or professional purposes.

  • You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, subject to legal and insurance record-keeping requirements.
